  1. i'm not sure what the rules are like in your country.

but in NZ you need to pass a class one medical to get your comercial licence. i would recomend finding you nearest aviation doctor and going for you medical, or asking them to put you onto an aviation optomitrist.

you can get your medical and licence with glasses/contacts

  2. You need to be correctable to 20/30 and have no serious astigmatism.  If you are not sure, then check with an Aviation Medical Examiner.

The FAA Flight Surgeon's web site has a list of all AMEs, with addresses and phone numbers.

  3. it depends whether you wear an eye equipment which can adjust your vision. Don't loose hope, there is a solution for your problem. But if your eye sight is very bad, go to a doctor and have a check up. Ask the doctor  about your problem. The doctor knows a lot of things more than i do.

  4. Your eye sight should be 20/20 or 6/6 correctable each eye.

No lasiks ( fit only after six months of surgery)

    No opacities

    Colour vision CP1 stds

Check out your medical standards at this resource

  5. If your sight is worse than 6/9 with correction aids then you can not fly.
