Does any1 know any good electric cars that are coming out as well as prices of them??

theres this new car called GM Volt coming out in 2010, any1 knows the price of it? or any other nice looking electric cars? thanks

There are no electric cars in production now, and there's an excellent chance that none will be.  The Tesla Roadster has turned out to be what we used to call vaporware--estimated delivery of the first one is fifteen months, maybe.  The manager of GM's Chevy division says that the Volt will be out in 2010 _if_ they can work out battery problems, which have been the difficulty in electric cars since Thomas Edison worked on them.

First estimate of price I have seen on the Chevy Volt is over $40,000. (!!!)

Studebaker is suppose to come out with one in about 2 or 3 years. price is suppose to be around 25k.
