if so please tell me ive looked but cant find none. and im looking for some in the la area

that are cheap like 1500 rent

areas like toluca lake,hollywood,studio city,burbank, encino, sherman oaks,universal city,sunland, tujunga, la crescenta

homes for rent only and apartments

1500 for  a gated community is going to be very rare to find. You're going to be lucky to find anything, a studio for along the lines of 1000. 1500 might get you a studio but that's again, if you're lucky. Craigslist is definitely a good place to look, or westside rentals. Some places will give you deals with westside rentals.

Craigslist is the right source for this.  $1500 sounds low, so you may need to share.
