Because Central London isn't really a residential area Community type halls are fairly rare. You could try hotels perhaps. Or if it was a really posh party, my friends had their wedding disco in the National Liberal Club.

If however your going for a self catering, bring a bottle type do, then contacting local authorities (or look them up on the web) such as Islington, Camden, Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Southwark or Lambeth might be a good start.
