Does any1 know what is going down at Piazza del Popolo on October 17, 2007?

Im staying in rome, italy for a couple of months and i walk by the Piazza del Popolo on my way to work everyday and they are building this huge wall type thing. The wall says Piazza del Popolo october 17, 2007 and nothing else. if any1 knows anything please tell me.
