Does any1 know where I can ski in Canada/America in mid October?

Hi, ive won a ticket to america in october, wanted to do a little skiing but think i may be out of luck....anyone know anywhere to ski in America or Canada in mid October?????????

Unfortunately you won't find anything remotely resembling a skiing resort, hill or mountain open in mid-October.  Your best bet may be to go to the highest peak in Whistler where there still may be some snow for skiing.  Be warned that we're talking really high altitude here.  I'd save the skiing for another trip.

Hardly any place at all will have fresh snow by then. Most places that get snow in winter will still have rain in October.

Last year they opened on Oct 14th.

Heck in 1951, before snowmaking, they opened on Sept 30th
