Maybe try reaching him through snail mail (possibly through his agent or Harper Collins). You'd have a much better chance of reaching him that way.

Anyone that famous would keep his e-mail very, very private. You can, however, write him a letter on paper and send it to him in care of his publisher. His publisher's address is in the front of every book. If you include a stamped, self-addressed envelope, he will probably write back to you, although his note may be short.
