Does anybody believe that they will do anything about the Chinese gymnasts age cheating ?

I believe the Olympic IOC will never find anything because the Chinese government loves to lie and cheat and hide the truth.

I think it has just televised officially that the young Chinese girls are proved age of 16 and over. You should realize that Chinese government needs not to lie about the gymnastic girls' ages. As a matter of fact, there are many good table tennis players for countries of eastern Europe, Singapore and Japan are actually the seconders of the Chinese government's surplus which are not skillfully high enough to stay in the Table Tennis team of China. I guess the best bet to pick on the number one gold medal holders of the 2008 Olympics is to set a new standard of number of gold/medal winners should be calculated on number of population, If so, the number one gold medal winners should have been the USA.

I think only Hong Kong government lied about the hidden poverty of two millions out of the seven millions are currently living under the poverty line. There are only 2,000 Hong Kong citizens are entitled to pay high taxes and 200,000 of the workers only paid $1 to 1,000 taxes last year. The government is named as fascist and liars. Many police enforcement members are also the members of the Hong Kong organized crimes. The Chinese government doesn't lie, but the Hong Kong government does lie every day. Liars are the cultural products of Hong Kong! I wish I could show you the article written by Philip Bowring, a journalist and commentator based in Hong Kong, named as cronyism of Hong Kong, reflecting the total corruption and lies that Hong Kong government told, however; they are controlling everything in Hong Kong, including our incomes and lives.

Nothing substantive.  The judging of figure skating and of ice dancing

have been scandalous for decades, yet the only "reforms" adopted

have just made payola easier.

I personally don't believe the Chinese gymnasts are underage.  There were no complaints until the American team lost to them, then suddenly, they began to question their age!!  Most Chinese are small frame anyway and it seems like sour grapes to me!!  Why are they not searching the ages of everyone else?

i don't think so.. china earned those medalls. there's no doubt that they did really welll.

China will never willingly give up all the medals they won, so of course they're gonna lie and forge documents if they have to.

I think if they really are 16 then the parents of those kids should let them go on vacation to Cancun where it is legal for 16 yr olds to drink, smoke, and have s*x........If they let em go, they are 16, if not......too young for the olympics.
