I'm writing about slang. Could you think anything that has positive effect by using slang in class?

  1. I would use the angle of connecting with your audience. Sometimes using slang as a tool to connect with who you're teaching, using language your audience can most easily connect with, can make a more immediate impact. If slang has an important role in their vocab not only do they have less to "interpret", but you're also showing how important you feel they are by tailoring your own vocabulary to mirror their own.


  2. No, I can't. There are no proper situations to use slang in the classroom except maybe in history to "re-enact" idiotic phrases & words that have come our way historically. Possibly a theatrical performance, etc. Other than that, no, there aren't any good points to using slang. It's uneducated.

  3. Here at work instead of get mad when someone upset one of us we all say OK that lets the person which is being a ***

    know no one agrees with them or they or out of line ,it works

    good luck,a slang should be to the point with out writing a book or being cruel when said seems one or 2 words does more I say what ever to keep from blowing alot it also works
