  1. I thought he was smarter than most boxers. He needs to stay retired.

Once someone is just a little past their prime they lose a fraction of speed then they can't hit, and can't block or dodge shots.

They go from being a dominate fighter to a punching bag.

    It tarnishes their career.

  2. He's the type of fighter that really gets hurt when they stay too long.  He was a great puncher, tough, and great to watch...that is basically the recipe for getting hurt when you stay too long.  All his KOs where long, drawn out beatings, he has a great chin and courage....if he comes back at his age, I hope he does a 180 in style.

  3. He was great in his time but his time is come and gone.

Too bad he didn't ever fight Mayweather that would have been great

  4. It will be interesting to see if Tszyu has anything left, he was always a solid puncher.  If he comes back as a welterweight he will be in for some tough fights, there is a lot of talent in the division.

That said, boxing is a young man's sport, after a certain point the old timers should accept the inevitable.  It's ultimately up to them, they are the ones taking the punishment, not us.

I think Tszyu should start with Hatton, a rematch in a neutral site outside of Europe will show if Kostya can still compete at the top levels, 147 is too much to ask of some smaller fighters, and if Mayweather has trouble with the welterweight divison, smaller name fighers like Hatton and Tszyu would too.

  5. Some might care but I dont think it will amount to much.  I love Kostya Tszyu.  I liked him even more when he KO'd Zab Judah, a fighter whom I don't like much but will give credit to when due.

Tszyu looked good in his fights leading up to the Hatton fight but, like Barry McGuigin before him, Hatton caught a legend on the right night.  He not only won but looked good doing it against a great fighter.

Tszyu's come back would make little sense because he's not likely to beat Hatton in a rematch.  He's got no shot at winning a title either because It's also not likely that he will return at 140.  That poses an even bigger problem because  everyone at 147 can beat Hatton.

I don't see Tszyu being very successful.  He should stay retired.

  6. I hadn't heard that Tszyu was planning a comeback.  I hope it isn't true.  If it is. . . perhaps he'd like another beating from Ricky Hatton.  If he was "old and spent" back THEN. . .then what is he now?  I don't think "spenter" is a word!

  7. If he is still in shape and healthy I wouldn't mind seeing him in one last hurray. He was an all around great fighter and very humble I think he would make a great boxing analyst. I definitely wouldn't match him up with the elite at this stage but I would love to see him fight one or two more times just perhaps as farewll fights against other names past their primes.

  8. he will only return if they offer him alot of money so he wont be fighting cuz hes hungry it wont be the kostya from before he retired

he was a really good boxer even mayweather ducked him

  9. I'm Excited About Chris Guzman Und Sixtus returning
