I know cats can hold in their bathroom habits for quite a while, but does anyone else's cat's hold in their urine for a really long time too? I don't think my kitty has a bladder infection or anything because he is eating and isn't being lethargic like he usually is when he is ill. He just went to the bathroom and sat there for quite a while and urinated, ALOT! After he finished he went number two, and now he is going CRAZY! Does anyone else's cats do any of this? Or is my cat just completely eccentric? lol.

  1. Ever smelled cap poo? You'd run like crazy to get away from that smell!!!

  2. After my cat poops in the litter box... she runs out at 100mph, like something terrible is chasing her... it is hilarious

  3. Cats can have UTIs without many symptoms if any at all other than not peeing.  Not eating or lethargy aren't signs of a bladder infection unless it's very severe and affecting his kidneys.  Cats can act strange.  My one cat goes to the bathroom in our ivy or in a clump of pine trees and then proceeds to run around the yard climbing up and down the trees.  It's like he has what I call the "friskies"!  Cats can be strange.  I love them so much anyways though!  I'd take your cat to the vet to rule out a bladder infection and keep note of any other unusual behaviors  you may notice like excessive drinking of water.  Hopefully, he's just fine.  Better safe than sorry!  My oldest cat is in the earliest stages of kidney failure and it affected his bathroom habits (not to scare you) and I wouldn't have known without an exam.  GOOD LUCK!

  4. My cats do that too.

and they always go crazy after they go #2

it must be a cat thing :)

  5. One of my two cats does that too. Holds on for ages, pees a flood. After she poops she bounces around the house like a maniac.
