I get frustrated when Sprint cup drivers go DOWN to nationwide and truck series and dominate.Let the up and comers have their own series. It's like Michael Jordan, T.Owens,Barry Sanders going back and competing against college players. They have an unfair advantage\

And on the other hand they look loike Idiots when they get beat!!

  1. oh yeah totally.

  2. It's a lot more fun to watch when you have someone to cheer for.

  3. Its irritating when the drivers are there and dont care about a points battle going on

  4. Yes,I think it,s stupid...Sure the little guys can learn alot from the cup drivers but it,s like watching a cup race...The only good thing is the tickets are cheaper!!!I think it,s totally wrong...Just like putting in a shoe in driver for a road course!!!WRONG!!!!!

  5. Sometimes.  I don't mind it as much in the trucks as I mind it in Nationwide.

Why is Bristol so empty?  Now, that bothers me.

  6. I think that they should be able to run in whatever series they want to, BUT, I also think that once they become a full time driver in the Sprint Cup series That they should not be awarded any points in any other series.

  7. I think it's cool because it lets the little guys beat up on the big guys and show their domination.

  8. Bunnie and i find it interesting sometimes though but think its not fair! its like when we were young in horse back riding shows and we were novice or intermediate sometimes the other riders advanced,,would come in our classes just 2practice and they would dominate which was not fair at all.  when bunnie and I ride we dont go to the lower levels at all so we can trophy out..just doesnt seem fair same thing with cup men in truck.

    xxoo Bunnie and Mandy

    best friends forever

  9. more interesting to watch and bigger ticket sales

  10. I'm fine with it as long as they don't s***w with regulars and don't try and go out of there way to be in the champion not to mention any names *kyle*

  11. Actually it kills me. Isnt that basically like cheating? Thats why the guys down there never have a chance to win. Its not fair to them because the big guys are going to win. They get a lot more practice since they do both races and they should not be able to do this. No wonder why the other guys aren't very popular it's because our big guys are going down to race against them and the small guys never win

  12. I think if they are going to drive in truck or nationwide to only drive on a limited schedule.  The nationwide or truck guys get to compete with the big dogs and to learn....but it would be the Nationwide or Truck regular to bring home that championship.

    I

  13. I'm fine with it. It boosts the series exposure and tv ratings. The only problem I have is when certain drivers (I wont name any names...) come in and act like they own the series and take out regulars who are running for pts.

And I find it interesting that "Bunnie and Mandy" have that problem at their horse shows because at all of the shows I go to all of the classes are divided by age for the youth shows, which is not unfair if the 13 yr old has worked harder and is a better rider than the 16 yr old.

  14. naw i dont mind it

  15. i don't in the truck series, because the regulars there - especially those who do well - are grizzled veterans who love it, and they generally tend to whip the c**p out of most of those who come into their series. rowdy busch and scott speed are the anomalies. even when they are in the race, much more often than not a truck series regular wins.

and did you see all the attention that race got - in particular with jimmie johnson there? he had cameras everywhere. and i couldn't tell if that large round of applause when he finally crashed out was for him trying so hard, or because they were glad to see him wreck. those truck fans can be pretty harsh, or pretty appreciative for the additional attention big names bring to the series. it's very hard to tell. they're used to kyle by now, but i'll bet dollars to donuts the ratings are significantly higher when he races.

as for those who complain about those drivers coming down and not "respecting that the regulars are running for a championship," there is more than one championship race going on. there is the drivers championship, and yeah, guys like rowdy are not in that, nor was mark martin a few years back when he came in and won like six races.

but there is also the owner's championship, and that is one of the main reasons kyle drives FOR FREE for billy balew. he wants to help get him an owner's points championship as repayment for all he's done for the sport. all of kyle's earnings are put back into the team - i believe that's a large part of the reason they are able to field two full-time teams this year. so all those drivers who complain he races too hard and is "just playing" and "doesn't care about points" WRONG!!! he cares very much about points - he wants to get as many for billy balew as he can. i wonder if he might even own a piece of the second truck or of the team given that their "deal" is that billy ballew keeps the money, and kyle keeps the trophies.

  16. I have always thought it was a bit unfair to the regular series drivers when cup guys race in their series, however, it makes nationwide races a h**l of a lot more interesting for me to go to, and I bet it makes the guys better racers.
