Does anybody else have an express cash account with halifax?

if so how old are you and do you know if you can have direct debits on them

The Halifax express cash account is for 11-15 year olds. It comes with a visa electron debit card but does not allow direct debits to be set up from the account.

At 16 the account automatically switches to the cardcash account, where direct debit facilities are available.
