  1. No...they are now just opening one up here in minneapolis just north of where I live.  I remember them well when we lived in Texas.  Don't know if I would ever work at Sonic.

  2. um i live in ohio and i used to work at sonic and it was ok and i liked it and it was ok money for a first job though

dont worry you will get used to the job i stayed there untill 2 years when i got offered a bettter job than that i lo0ved sonic.

  3. Haha, I just got hired at a Sonic down here in Texas a month ago for my first job. It's an alright job, once you get used to all the beeps and learn when to shout out what when taking orders and how to make all the different ice creams and smoothies.

Once you start carhoping, it gets much better. I love carhopping days since you make your tips there. Just remember to count your change back to the customer. My first day carhopping, I got $20.99 in tips! But then the next few days I hopped, I got about $4-$10 which I shouldn't complain about... except for the fact that day I clearly remember someone giving me a $4 or $8 dollar tip! (I know, I was completely shocked. She just said she used to be a waitress and knew what it was like trying to get a living.) It was even worse this one day where I was a "back-up carhop" and I OWED Sonic $6 of my own money even after giving them my tips. Not a good day. Just don't rush, only go as fast as you can handle (both on fountain and carhopping) since it's better to be a few seconds slower than to have to completely remake something and risk a late ticket.

Yeah, Sonic's a crazy job. As long as you can make friends and like the people you're working with, it's a pretty cool first job (Unfortunantly for me, I hate most of the people that are working there dating back to middle school. xD). Sorry I may have given you more info than you asked for, but I wish someone would have told me a few of those tips before I started working. ;D
