is this not the best product placement you have ever seen? anytime there's a tropical weather system within 1,000 miles of the US mainland, you have a Weather Channel personality reporting live from a Home Depot somewhere close to the action. i actually heard a story once about customers being paid to be filmed coming out of Home Depot with loads of plywood! i cannot prove that was the case but it makes you wonder. why dont they ever film on location at Lowe's? Ace hardware? or a local lumberyard?

if you dont think a picture on TV of people streaming out of a Home Depot with loads of plywood combined with an impending storm system will bring in the traffic, you don't know much about marketing! now throw in the idea (just the IDEA!) that there is limited supply and only the ones that get there fast will get the plywood!!!

kudos to Home Depot! Brilliant!
