  1. no i don't think they OWNED anything Palin should have been focusing on her 17 year old daughter keeping her legs close if she can't protect her own child from getting knocked up and then covering it by forcing her to get married how can we know that she will have americas back cover ups are never the answer she did not say anything other than to take back statments that she previously made

  2. Total and utter Pwnage!

  3. I expected this... yawn.  Throw red meat... who didn't expect this?

  4. As far as theatrics and sparking the base, yes.

As far as facts and policy (which was non-existent in Palin speech), no.

  5. I read the answers here from the McCain / Palin supporters and I wonder if you guys live in the same country I do. The McCain ads talk about Obama raising taxes, he says that he will raise taxes on the wealthy. Major corporations and oil companies are now getting what tax breaks. They are earning billions, and THEY, not US get help from our government. They warn us about years of deficit spending - look at Iraq??? How long will it take to pay this off?

The money we are spending there could provide health care for everyone in the US. We could house the homeless, and make sure that all BORN children are fed each day.

Now we have this woman who is personable yes, but is she ready to be President? This is a valid question with McCain's age and health.

I can't afford my medicine, I work 40+ hours per week, & I have health insurance. I have to spend more than $100.00 per week for gas.

I see schools that don't work, I see homes that are empty because people can't afford mortgage, I see people trying to sell all types of luxury items ( boats, rv's etc. ) just to make ends meet.

I want to have those rose colored glasses you all must wear.

  6. The question is, will those family values Republicans "own" these photos of their VP candidate?

  7. The greek column statement was a cheep shot and in bad taste but what do you expect from someone like her!

  8. First of all I am not an Obamabot you redumblicans and second of all I was impressed at her delivery.  But I promise you she really barked up the wrong tree.  Now she is wide open for criticism and thoughtful at that which is where Barack flourishes at.  That is the very reason he said nothing about her at first because he wanted to she what type of attack she would deliver.  This is gonna be interesting although I still take Obama by a landslide she brings the type of attitude the RNC needed in order to make this interesting.  I would not vote for her if my life depended on it but she is definately someone to hang out with thats not hard to figure out!

  9. They screwed the Dems. and they didn't even give them a kiss.

  10. Yes they did very well. But the Obama boys, including CNN, will continue to try to attack her children and her inexperience(which us educated folks know she is more experienced then Dems #1 on their ticket). I really hope Americans wake up and realize that Obama is going to bury the middle class. He promises tax cuts...ya to those making less then 9000 a yr...P.S. they dont even pay taxes in the end, so they will be getting even bigger refunds! Hmm wonder who that is???!!!

  11. It's over for Obama. BYE BYE COMMUNITY ORGANIZER!

  12. Doubt it, but we will see when the ratings come out..

Tuesday night ratings for Republicans were terrible.

  13. si.

    obamas trippn out by now

  14. With Sarah Palin? lol  Not if you have heard as many speeches as I have over the last 50 years. .

Goldwater was better, Sandra Day O'Connor is better, Barbara Jordan was just plain inspiring.  JFK was very moving. And Sarah Palin delivered her speech well and it sounded like a high school speech which really made me feel a bit embarrassed as a woman. It had no substance except a lot of one liners that lacked any substance.

Bush all over again when he was so dreadful and the pundits said he did better than they expected which is a courteous way of saying he or she did okay but we cannot tell the truth and say medicro content, good delivery.

  15. HAHAHAHA...I'll go along with that

  16. I was voting that way anyway. But after tonight I can't wait to cast my vote. This had me very excited. I will do all in my power to make sure Obama does not win my state of Pennsylvania. I will be voting while clinging to my bible and my gun.

  17. No, but they do own a gigantic deficit, a bogus war, and an exaggerated threat of terrorism.

And yes, I did spell "own" with an "o" instead of a "p".

    Tax Cuts:

Economic Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001:

Reduced lowest tax rate for 15% to 10%, and the highest from 39.6% to 35%. Obliterated a $230 BILLION surplus and created a $413 BILLION deficit. A study by the Tax Policy Center found that low- and middle-income Americans, the bottom 60% of Americans only recieved 13.7% of the tax cuts.

    No Child Left Behind:

By the end of President Bush's first term, complaints about the administrations failure to fund the Act were shelling the White House.

    Kyoto Protocol

Set requirements for 38 industrialized nations to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions. Bush pulled out of the treaty.

With the rejection of the protocol and the decision to withdraw from the Anti Ballistic Missile Treaty, President Bush seemed to be leading the country on a road not traveled since after World War I, that of isolationism.

    Domestic Policies

"This administration, in catering to industries that put America's health and natural heritage at risk, threatens to do more damage to our environmental protections than any other in U.S. history." - The National Resources Defense Council

He accused Democrats of wanting to make Social Security a Federal program, even though it HAS been a federal program since it's inception under Roosevelt. (lol)

I don't think I need to go into the War in Iraq.

"George Bush dispenses with people who confront him with inconvenient facts. He truly believes he's on a mission from God. Absolute faith like that overwhelms a need for analysis. The whole thing about faith is to believe things for which there is no empirical evidence, but you can't run the world on faith." - Bruce Bartlett, domestic policy advisor to Ronald Reagan (This guy is a member of your party guys! *gasp*)

Speaking of Reagan, to be fair, Bush did reinstate one of Reagan's policies that stopped federal funds going to international organizations that advocated or paid for abortions.

  18. Oh most definitely. I mean, here you have a woman who was using passive aggressive "wit" and "humor" to attack her opponent so she could distract attention away from the fact that she shouldn't even be up there.......................nothing like reinforcing the stereotype for herself.

  19. YES.

  20. Yes..

I was laughing my *** off. I guess it's funny, because it's sad someone like Obama has even made it this far.

  21. OBAMABOTS!!!!LMAO

  22. alright, so- Sarah Palin, really great family woman- loved hearing her talk about children with disabilities and she has a great story but d**n girl, calm down a bit- her attacks on Obama were so negative and she did not tell me enough about her plans or policies

not to mention Rudy is a tool. His speech was horrible.

After tonight, i'm leaning towards Obama/Biden- they seem more level headed and secure to me.

  23. Definitely. Rudy destroyed Barry. Sarah was incredible, she is gonna be a superstar.

  24. yes. Why do you think the Obamabots are so bitter and angry? Just look at their posts here.

  25. hahahahha you amuse me!

i couldn't be happier. Palin made a fool of herself!

Obama/Biden have this one in the bag!!!!

    :) :)

  26. I loved the greek columns part, it really told the story of Obama.

But the attack dogs for the Obama side will now have to dig deeper to discredit this fine woman.

Obama for empty suit of the year!!!!
