Question:

Does anybody else think there is way too much advertisement?

in general. i mean from spam email to bots on yahoo answers even. it seems on some channels like there are more commercials on than the shows. they even have commercials during shows and stuff that are on-demand. anybody else think its getting rediculous?

  1. People have been complaining about advertising over-saturation for years and years, and of course it's only getting worse.

    I don't mind ads that are intelligent and well-thought-out; they're informative and entertaining. And usually beautifully designed. What I really mind are the senseless "noise" ads that tell you nothing are are poorly executed. And billboards posted in really lovely areas; they don't belong there.

    But as the other folks say: what's the alternative? I like having Yahoo! and all the other sites free - and will put up with ads if that's the price.


  2. It keeps prices down and extras free.  I think there is a lot but I like keeping everything free or extremely cheap because of it.

  3. I've got a DVR so advertisements don't bother me at all.   If ads keep Yahoo Answers in business, i am fine with that.  The price for me is perfect.
