Yea he's a great QB with a hall of fame career but does the media have to give us updates on it every 10 minutes? Why don't they just make a channel for him called "Favre TV"

  1. I'm a huge packers fan and I most certainly do not want him to disappear but I do think the media needs to lay off it's getting a bit ridiculous.

  2. YES.Im so sick of all this c**p.I really dont like Brett at all anymore. He needs to get on with his life.It kinda screws up your teams plan when you say "im retiring"(again) the a few months later wants to come back(again). The Packers picked 2 QBs in the draft, they wouldnt have done it if Brett was there. They basically wasted there draft picks.

  3. you think that its his fault that the media follows him around? i dont blame him, i blame the media for all this. can you believe that a helicopter actually followed him to his house in Green Bay? its rediculous.

  4. You can't blame Favre. He's only used the media once and that was to tell the fans why he had asked to be released. He had been taking a beating from the Packers and the media so he basically was just defending himself. Everything he said in that interview has be proved to be true. A lot of players have come out of retirement so Favre coming back shouldn't be that big of an issue. If I remember right, Favre was the one trying to keep things quiet by denying the rumors until something could be worked out. The media are like sharks going crazy smelling the blood in the water. The Packers management were the ones drawing the blood and feeding the sharks. Don't blame Favre, all he wants is to play again.  Ted Thompson is to blame for all the drama, he was the one trying to point the fingers at everyone else and make Favre look like the bad guy. He went so far as to blame another team, which also proved to be false.

  5. I like "channel 4" better but yeah its old but baseball is boring and at least they layed a little off talking about T.O. and his gf Romo

  6. I totally agree. I mean, I don't mind him its just the love affair that ESPN and John Madden have with him. I feel bad for Aaron Rogers as well. Did you see Farre get off the plane to meet with the Packers? He looked really overweight and needs a good amount of work. The Packers are never going to go into the future ad long as Brett is there.

  7. So blame the media.

  8. i think the media coverage is way overhyped, but then again there isn't a whole lot else to talk about so that's what they're filling the airtime with

  9. I'd pay to have him vanish. I'm not saying something bad should happen to him, God Forbid, I'm just saying I wouldn't lose any sleep over it...

  10. ESPN is actually starting a new series called "Favre Affairs"

    sounds interesting

  11. Warren Moon played till he was 44 and was selected to go to the pro bowl when he was 39 and 41 (1995 and 1997).

Brett Favre is 38 and last season led his team to 13-3. Yea I am as sick as everyone else about all the media coverage, but I say if he wants to play trade him and let him play. I dont think he should play for the Packers since he retired on them and they worked around that. So let him go and get something IE draft pick out of the deal.

I think it would be messed up if he wasnt allowed to play since he still can play well.

  12. YEAH HE NEEDS TO STOP WiTH HiS SOAP OPERA

  13. Isn't that what ESPN's new name is?  When they started showing Favre updates on the Speed Channel, it got ridiculous.

He should have retired with dignity while he had the chance.  Unfortunately, a lot of older athletes have to play that one last game.  (Michael Jordan, Mark Martin.)

  14. Just like Hemorrhoids,Brett Favre won't go away, they both are a pain in the azz

  15. Hopefully other star players nearing retirement will learn from this debacle. Farve has been threatening retirement for the last 4 years and both he and the Packers have really made a mess out of this. I certainly feel for Aaron Rodgers who has put up with this act for 4 years now. If I were him I'd demand a trade now, go somewhere where he can play and not have to carry the clipboard for this dope.

  16. Yes the man had more media attention then any man deserves and that was just in the last 2 months

  17. well it's this years spygate... they got good run out of nothing last year doing it, so why not again... so espn focusses on favre saga and his wife's b*****s, and the vikings become this year's cheaters for tampering...
