Does anybody ever just lay down on the grass at night, and look up at the stars?

sometimes i like to stare up at the stars, and forget about all the problems in life..

well, not the grass cause its usually wet at night and I dont care to get bugs all over me. Instead  I sit on my roof.

yep, that started a very expensive hobby. just got my 4th telescope and 3rd set of binoculars.

If I would do that,I would have to travel at least 5 miles,to find grass,I live in a big big city...:-(

Of course!

If you are away from street lights, you can lie there and just imagine yourself floating in space with all the universe just laid out for your appreciation. I particularly like looking at the Milky Way, and trying to visualize a 3D version of the galaxy, thinking about all the glorious night skies in the crowded inner reaches! Just think of what's out there! Just imagine!!
