Like you can't really use big words or you have to say things in a certain or casual way so people will think you're normal..like for example on MSN instead of saying "Hey, how was your day today. What are you doing?" you say, "heyy wassup wut r u doin".

  1. I am a fellow sufferer. In fact I was curtly asked by one of my friends while chatting on the internet to stop acting all "Shakespeare" and type in acronyms. I did, but it only took me longer.

And sometimes I have to refrain from using words like "incorrect" or "hardly" because the setting makes them sound odd.

  2. When I was younger, I was told I was "too intimidating" because I spoke standard English...and of course I would get accused of "acting white" because of it.  At first, I would feel bad about it. Now I just ignore the naysayers. If someone has an issue with the way I naturally speak, then that's their problem, not mine.

  3. hahaha yea sometimes i have to downplay it when i go back to my hometown or just in certain company.  usually i text and facebook chat in that e-lingo tho, like "wut up b?  u doin cool things?  U wanna drop by? :)"
