  1. I find gaming magazines to be a total waste of money, especially the official ones, gaming sites offer the best up to the minute news and rumors and they are free.

  2. uummmmm.., get egm

  3. i suggest getting something better like the gameinformer magazine it the number one magazine. the pages are big and there is a calender inside to show you the current month and what games are coming out this month. i rate it 10 out of 10.  nintendo power maybe good but i don't want them to talk about nintendo i want to know what going on with the three console . and the top game news.

  4. Its a good magazine they show you all the latest stuff that is coming out, and news. Its a good magazine. I would also recommend subscribing to Game Informer, it is probably the best gaming mag out.

    Nintendo Power - 9.5/10

    Game Informer - 10/10

  5. Depends. If you have a lot of different systems, then go for the Game Informer. If not, and you just have a DS or a Wii, you should just get Nintendo Power because Game Informer tends to focus more on Xbox 360 and PS3.

  6. I love the magazine.  It's got everything Nintendo, but it comes so early.  I got the September issue in July.

It's very informal, and you usually get the information before it hits the internet.  You'll see almost all upcoming games in a huge list, read good reviews (although some are short for the dumb games), and learn a lot about the world of Nintendo.  There are also Power Profiles, which put the spotlight on any important person in the video game industry.

It's really funny, too.  Everyone picks on staffer Chris Shepperd, ex-editor-in-chief Scott Pelland is obsessed with Chuck Norris and Mr. T (and so is everybody else).  Be aware that the Editor-In-Chief, Chris Slate, exaggerates stuff and makes some games sound better than they are (how can he give Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games a 7.5/10?).

Still, it's a great magazine.  You won't regret it.

    9/10

But like these other guys, if you wanna know about the other game consoles and more juicy info on the industry, choose GameInformer.

  7. It's pretty good. You should.

It's not as good as it used to be though

    9/10
