Does anybody have a Sony Blu-ray BDPS300B? Is it good? And why is it cheaper than Sharp, Samsung, Panasonic?

Because the S300 has been replaced by the S350.  It is simply last years model.  The only problem I've had with it is very slow loading times.

It is an old model. Not one to recommend buying now. It will have slow loading times and may not play the latest Bluray releases without trouble. Go for the Samsung BD1500 or the Panasonic BD30. They are pretty much up to date for Bluray.
