  3. I am sorry that people have been so rude to you about this answer! I have been a teacher for over 14 years and it is really hard sometimes to have everything together!

I hope you are able to find what you need and that your lesson plan works out okay!

We are doing butterflies in our class this week too and am looking for the book in my personal library to lend to another teacher who is a single mom who goes to college. Sometimes there are just not enough hours in the day!

    Hang in there!

  4. Try ordering it from scholastics book club. You may find other books that are quite helpful.

  5. What loser is going to give you the exact text just go to another library and you cna also request it can be brought to your library.

  6. um what loser is going u type up all the words for u um why dont u go to another library or get some notes on that book from the web the web rocks

  7. Its by Eric Carl. Look it up by Amazon.com and it will show you some pics inside...or do a search for the words or text of the book. It is a great book to read and do activities for preschoolers.

  8. It has to be in your library. It's by Eric Carle. Every library has one, it just may be checked out. I"d go type it for you but my son is asleep and its in his rooM!

  9. The Very Hungry Catepillar

In the light of the moon alittle egg lay on a leaf.

One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and -pop- out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry catepillar. He started to look for some food, On Monday he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry, on Tuesday he ate through two pears,, but he was still hungry, on Wednesday he ate through three plums but he was still hungry, On Thursday he ate through 4 strawberries but he was still hungry, On Friday he ate through 5 oranges but he was still hungry. On Saturday he ate through one piece of chocolate cake, one ice cream cone, one pickle , one slice of swiss cheese, one slice of silami,  one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake and one slice of watermellon, that night he had a stomachache. The next was Sunday again and the catepillar ate through one nice green leaf and after that he felt much better. Now he wasn't hungry anymore -and he wasn't little any more. He was a big fat catepillar. He started to build a small house called a cocoon around himself.  He stayed inside for more than  two weeks. Then one day he nibbled a whole in the cocoon  and pushed his way out, and..... he was a beautiful butterfly.  by Eric Carle

(I actually just finished reading this for the millionth time to my son when I saw your Question, he could have told you too if he could spell to type.

By the way I'm no loser, the book has less words than a real chapter, it was no big deal to write it if it helps someone

  10. maybe someone should not wait till the last moment to gather things you need for a task.

this is one book every teacher should have in their own library along with several others by the same author.

start now and when you have your own classroom you will have your own selections and will not have to depend on others or the local library....by the way if one branch does not have the book you are looking for they can usually get you a copy of the titlle within 1-3 days.

  11. No but check amazon.com they'll have it, and some times they have exerpts you can read!

  12. i do but i dont have it with me!
