Does anybody have a home made baked cheesecake recipe?

i would like to know how to make a really good plain baked cheesecake recipe but i cant find any recipe like that all i find is different cheese cake kinds and not the one i would like to bake i hope you can help

  1. Here is a great basic cheesecake recipe:

    Ing:

    3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

    4 eggs

    1 cup sugar

    1 pint sour cream

    1 teaspoon vanilla

    1 (10-inch) Graham Cracker pie crust

    Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Beat cream cheese, eggs, sugar, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over piecrust and bake for 50 minutes (until center is set). To prevent cake from cracking, place shallow pan half full of hot water on lower rack of oven during baking.

    Cool the cheesecake on a rack for 1 hour then refrigerate for at least 3 hours until cold.  


  2. Crust - Do first

    2 cups Graham crumbs

    1 stick melted butter or margarine

    3/4 cup fine chopped nuts - optional

    Prepare crust in side springform pan 9 or 10 inch - no holes

    Mold to bottom and way up on sides

    3 8oz pkg of cream cheese - soft

    1 1/2 cups sugar

    4 eggs

    24 oz Breakstone sour cream

    1 1/2 tsp vanilla

    Beat cream cheese until creamy, add eggs one at a time and mix. Add flavoring, mix well at low speed. Add sour cream.

    Bake at 375 for 50 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and remove side of pan and cool completely. Refrigerate as usual

  3. Best Cheesecake

    Crust

    2 cups grahm cracker crumbs

    1/2 cup sugar

    4 Tsb melted butter

    1 large egg white lightly beaten

    Preheat oven to 375ºF.  Mix all crust ingredients and press into bottom and a little way up sides of 10 inch springform pan.  Bake for 5-10 minutes.  Cool until reaches room temp.

    Filling

    5 packages of cream cheese

    1 3/4 cups of sugar

    2 large eggs

    1 Tsb fresh lemon juice

    1 Tsb vanilla extract..pure if have

    2/3 cup heavy cream

    Reduce oven to 325ºF.  Wrap bottom of sprinform pan with alumium foil. A few sheets.

    Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Best if done when cream cheese is at room temperature. In a small bowl lightly beat eggs, lemon juice and vanilla.  With mixer running slowly add egg mixture to cream cheese. In about 4 increments.Add heavy cream next. Mix well.

    Pour cream cheese filling into springform pan.  Place springform pan in a shallow roasting pan and fill roasting pan with enough hot water to come up half inch of springform pan.

    Bake for 60 to 90 minutes, or until center is firm .


  4. I have two but I don't have them with me but I am posting this so I have your post so I don't forget to give them to you. I have a regular one and one made with splenda... and it has wayyyyy less fat, it tastes a little different, but it is good considering it isn't that bad for you. until you add cherries or strawberries.

    He uses a regular cake pan to do it in. We've made it numerous times and it's the best cheesecake!

  6. for 1 pie

    2 8 oz packs of Cream cheese

    1/2 cup sugar

    2 eggs

    2 tsp lemon juice

    1 tsp vanilla

    topping...1 cup sour cream 1 tablespoon sugar

    combine and pour into graham cracker crust...bake 55 mins or until set...remove and pour on topping...return to over for 10 more mins....
