Does anybody have an article on self-injury/mutilation?

Question

I'm doing a project for my sociology class on self-injury, primarily in adolescence. If anybody has an article, I would be very thankful. I'd like to focus on teens in America, but a more general article will also work.

What made you want to do your project on self-injury?

I had a presentation last year for Contemporary Social Problems, basically Sociology Two, that I did on SI, but I was too afraid that I'd get rude comments and ended up presenting one about child abuse and domestic violence--I SI, by the way; I haven't cut since December 6th, 2007, which is AMAZING for me.
