  1. To get started on parkour, you will first need a bit of calisthenic training.  You should be able to do around 25 push-ups and 50 or so curl-ups (the numbers will vary from person to person).  Just be moderately fit and athletic and you'll be parkour-ready.

Firstly, you want to develop proper landing technique.  This will take practice, but it is pretty much the foundation of parkour.  With proper landing technique you'll be able to start doing everything else.

There are many guides on how to land properly, here's an example one - http://www.ehow.com/how_2217415_do-parko...

Hmm, where to start on training.  You could basically start by  jumping off higher-than-usual places, vault anything you deem as an obstacle, etc.  Schools, parks, and urban areas are definitely good places for parkour, so be sure to just look around places that have potential obstacles and start overcoming them.  Definitely keep a lookout for walls and gaps.

I usually go to an urban area in my city, and pick an arbitrary point somewhere in the distance (like a rooftop) and try to parkour my way there.  I usually run into some obstacles and walls along the way that make for good practice.  Maybe this idea could work for you too.

Start out small, perfect your landings and rolls, perceive everything as a potential obstacle, and overcome them. Do this and you will develop your parkour and get good in no time.
