I am 25 and work at one of the life insurance companies on Asylum Street. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to live in that area. Also what is fun to do around here? Thank you.

  2. Hi welcome to Hartford.   Asylum Hill is cool, there are usually some places you can walk to but mostly you're going to be driving to most places.    For me personally, living downtown is better.   It's more expensive because all the units are pretty new.   The best nightlife and restaurants in the region are downtown and it's definitely a more interesting place to live than the suburbs.    Try one of David Nyberg's buildings or Temple Street.    Bushnell on the Park and Hartford 21 are nice but more expensive.

Email me if you want more info, I'm 29 and also a young professional in Hartford.
