Does anybody have any tips for purchasing an in car computer for car audio?

I was looking into purchasing an in car computer for my 2004 scion xb. Does anybody know of a good brand, or can point me into what I should be looking for specificly? I am familiar with building computers, but Ive never bought one before so if anybody has and has tips, that'd be appreciated!

Don't bother, that's the best advice you can get.

Or more specifically, any type of monitor/screen that is viewed while driving, is illegal, as it is a distraction to the driver.

Unless you simply intend to install a harddrive in the car somewhere. Which seems somewhat absurd, as there's no reason to need that much music at any given time.
