Does anybody have experience in ComboFix?

I used it to remove some spyware and it worked fabulously. Just wish I knew how it works?

coz iam not going to look it up for u and then spend the time typeing it all out

Combofix is a specialist tool, ive used it a few times on computers/laptops ive been repairing. But in professional quarters  we tend not to recommend using fixes that can alter or delete registry keys, this is because often the general user doesnt understand the functions of important registry entries.

Sometimes a virus can infect and include itself along with a legitimate entry (a good example is vundo which infects the explorer key) If you delete an important key instead of just removing the threat entry within the key, it can leave a system unbootable.

Hope this makes things clear from the experts point of view, as to why we dont freely offer these fixes as mandatory  :)
