Does anybody have good advice?

Hi, I'm 16 and I just found out that my girlfriend is pregnant, we decided to keep it, and were both excited about it. I really cant wait but i think i need alot of good advice from people that have experienced or are experiencing a similer situation. Id appreciate any advice given, also any literature would be great! thanks!

Well the first thing you should do is get a job. I know you're only 16, but your going to need all the money you can get your hands on. Also, be there for your girlfriend as much as you can, she's gonna need you to be there for her... this situation can be both exciting and scary, so it's good that you are there for each other through this.  I wish you the best of luck, and to be honest it's going to be REALLY hard. I know from experience. I wish you the best of luck and no matter what happens between you and your girlfriend...make sure that you are ALWAYS there for your kid.

Focus on money.

Look into getting medicare.

There are several programs out there that will also give you free food or food stamps in order for your girlfriend to eat healthy while she is pregnant and for the baby to eat healthy after it's born.

Most of all, look to your family for help.

Don't lean on them when you don't have to, but always remember that they are there when you need them so don't do anything crazy like run away or anything.

Finish school.
