Question:

Does anybody have ideas for landscape edging?

currently we have old railroad ties but they are falling and rotting into the ground. does anybody know of something cheap and nice looking to hold up our flowerbed. it's on a hill so we need to keep the dirt up. thanks!

  1. Concrete edging stones might work. A meter long, 6" or 9" depth is the choice. Best wishes. UK


  2. sounds like you are familiar with the farm, you could go ask anyone with a field if they have a rockpile you could pick through. More often than not they will be happy to have you clean up part of their 'mess', and won't charge you a dime. When you put it together, it's a good idea to dig up some extra soil and put some wire mesh (chicken wire) under the rocks to help the structure stay in place.

  3. Buy some bricks if the flower bed isn't that high.
