  1. Just keep practicing and writing them over and over until you know them like the back of your hand.......

Nothing else you can really do......

  2. Um, when i went to Japanese School before I dropped out >_>; my teahcer used the overusage method :x You take a piece of paper in a notebook and turn it the long way, and then from up to down and right to left write the character over and over again. We were made to do 15 characters a day. I still know hiragana and katakana as well as grade 3 kanji to this day and it is been more than 10 years.

  3. there's no easy method. just write and sound out.

there're some method about kanji characters but hiragana.

  4. This doesn't work for all people, but you could try associating pictures with the characters.  For example, "ri" could be associated with a ribbon, because you could draw it in a way that it would look like a ribbon.

Other than that, just keep writing them over and over.  Do some pre-tests, like trying to write all the characters without cheating.

By the way, I love your avatar.  :)

  5. Hello!

I don't know if my methods will work for you but i'll tell you them anyway. And i will start by saying that i learnt all of katakana in 4 days. I also have a pretty good photographic memory. Anyway!

This is what i did (i'm going to talk as if i did it with hiragana, for your sake). Firstly print out a hiragana chart. THIS IS ESSENTIAL!

Put the chart on the wall near your bed, near where your head is. Every night, check out the chart. Go through the symbols every night. It's good to have it so close.

When you are in the shower, blu-tac/stickytape a copy of the hiragana chart onto the glass of your shower so you can see it when you are showering. When you are showering you remember things quite well. So look at the hiragana and write them with your finger on the glass of your shower. It'll help!

Lastly, make sure you continually write them all down. ANY hiragana that you find difficult to remember, write it out multiple times pronouncing the sound!

    Hope this helps,

    Beau
