Does anybody here hate summer?

i really hate the sun, all day it's humid and going out is a drag because of sunburns and unwanted tans. so is there anyone out there who prefers winter?

You should move somewhere drier if humidity is problem. It is a very dry heat over here in eastern Washington in summer. I love summer. In summer, everything and everyone is alive!

I don't hate the summer, but then, I live in a desert, so I don't have to deal with humidity.  Even when we lived in the tupelo swamps of Arkansas, I liked the summer.  I like the springs and falls best, but summer and winter have their own kinds of beauty.

HOWEVER, I totally feel your pain regarding sunburns.  Oddly enough, I've gotten some of my worst burns on my face in the winter, reflected light off the snow.

Invest in some sunblock, a cool hat, and light weight light colored clothing, and don't let the heat stop you from getting out.  If nothing else, look for a way to get somewhere else:  That's why summer cabins in the mountains and visits to the sea shore are so popular.  

I'm sure others hate the heat, too, but I think you'll be happier if you rise above it rather than wallowing in the comfort of others who are also happy being miserable.

I agree that the snow is great, and you can sit inside with hot chocolate and watch snow fall... but Summer has it's high points, as does Spring and Winter. =]]

Yes  I hate hot weather!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually perfer winter!!!!
