  1. Your English is so difficult to understand that I'm sure what you are asking.

You can open a credit card account in your name and have your husband on it as an authorized purchaser as well, or you can get one in just your name.

Until you understand how this works, you really shouldn't have one.  If you use it incorrectly, you can dig yourself a big hole that will plague you for years.

  2. If you want to get your own credit rating, then you need to take the card out in your own name, not jointly with your husband.  If this account is your first then wait a while (6 mo at least) before applying for one on your own...you will be able to use your joint account as a reference. Credit accounts are easy to get...so be patient and careful.

Remember, that utility and cell phone accounts also count towards your credit rating so the next time you sign a cell contract make sure it's in your name...a very good start.

Most of all, be careful how much credit you take.  One mistake can take years to erase and cause more trouble for your than not having many cards or accounts in your name.

  3. If you come in just to open a new account we might ask if you are interested in establishing credit then offer a card but no a credit card isn't automatically sent.

It is unethical to run a persons credit bureau without their permission or knowledge and you have to run it in order to get approved for a card unless a pre approval were to pop up. If you are pre approved it pops up we offer it, you either accept or decline it.

If you accept the card it takes about 10 days to get to you.

I'm in Missouri not Florida sorry

  4. A bank account is not the same thing as a line of credit.

You can open a savings account at a bank, or you can open a checking account at a bank, or you can request a credit card from a bank. Those are three different transactions.

If you are opening a checking account, you will likely get a debit card that's linked to the account. You can use that debit card in stores and on line just like you would use a credit card, but it will take the money right out of your account when you make your purchase. You will not actually be granted any credit.

If you want to apply for a credit card, you will need to talk to someone at the bank and fill out an application. You could get one in your own name, or you could get a joint account with your husband. It depends on which of you has the better credit rating and/or the more reliable income.

  5. You should apply for your own credit card in your name. It should be for your personal use only. A credit card is like your money and you should take good care of it and use it to buy things you need.

  6. Usually you have to apply for one thru your bank.

Better than getting one thru the mail..their interest rates will be higher.

    go to your bank..HUGS!!
