Ranch or breeder? I would highly suggest buying a chinchilla from any place that's going to call itself a "ranch". This place would most likely resemble a puppy mill, with chinchillas being horribly treated just to produce babies for their whole lives. And more than likely these animals are just being bred for their fur, not as pets. Try looking on http://www.petfinder.com//index.html There are so many unwanted chinchillas out there that need homes. Don't spend your money on buying one from a pet store. They are often over priced and you don't know the genetics or age of the animal, which can be crucial things to know. Please try adopting before all else. But try Google if you're looking for a breeder.
