  1. With no offense meant at all, I want to assume you are young, and perhaps have never had to apply for, solicit a job of any kind?

In your case, in a professional sense, a cover letter is a means to offer an introduction. That doesn't mean OMG I LOVE ACTING AND SO WANNA BE FAMOUS.

What might be best for you, before you add your resume to the cover letter, is to speak of education, experiences, and attempt to be convincing about what YOU might offer the company, or production. NOT what you hope for or expect, from them.

It isn't designed to be a testimonial at all, merely a way to get that director to get to the next page. Certainly you can state that you wish to be involved, but a cover letter, a resume, a job search, are in no way to be an emotional statement.

  2. start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

for agents and all the info you need go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com for the agent one click table of contents then click city nearest you. read everything on the site

answers wont pop up infront of you so look around and click on the words in blue but not the ones that are double underlined!
