Does anybody know a good theme for a girl turning 12 years old birthday party?

She is a girly girl and this year she has decided to invite boys so she really can't use anything like pretty in pink but i can't seem to think of anything.PLEASE HELP!!!

A dance? When I was in middle school, we would have our parents rent a local building like city hall, and we would have a dance. Have a DJ. That makes it really fun.

all I did for mine was have a cake and presents. i wasn't exspecting a party, and my mom had it at my church while all of us kids were downstairs. Not the best. I got a vera bradly and a cell phone though
