  1. sorry there is none. to make sure this is completely eradicated so it is not passed onto another animal or human it's strongly advised that a vet treats this tapeworm.

  2. No! You will have to make a trip to the vet with your kitty and have it treated properly.

    Quote:

HOW DO WE GET RID OF THEM?

"Tapeworms are killed by different medications (Our hospital uses one called “DRONCIT” (brand name of “ Praziquantel”) which is administered by injection or tablet. The tapeworm is killed and digested with the pet’s food. It is not passed in the stool later."

Here is the link that that the quote above is from and it will tell you all about Tapeworms.  Treatment medicines may vary from one vet to another.

Our vet uses Strongid and Cestex.  Both are vet perscribed de-wormers for tapes, hooks and round worms.

    Hope this helps.

  3. home-based remedies are not endorsed by the FDA or even

any vets so I would not rely on that method for something this

serious they can be transferred to other hosts

get the right cure which may take time from the vet;p.s. there

are clinics just for cats nowadays

  4. Home remedies usually end up making the problem worse and it costs more money to fix the damage.  Deworming at the vet is inexpensive and it works. Don't try to scrimp on this.

  5. No home remedy only medication from the vet.

  6. No safe home remedy. Get to the vet quick as tape worms can make your cat very sick very quickly.
