  1. Do yo mean like for social reasons?  I don't know of them, but I do know there are people all over the internet with autism. I run into them from time to time on the autism forums that I go to for research.  Since my children no longer have autism, I never had to find one of those places for them, but I know they exist.  Keep searching.  Have you tried Yahoo Groups yet?

  2.   You can look in yahoo groups for  NSASA this group is for people that have a family member with autism it's very helpfull....

  3. yes on wwe fan nation there is a group called hands across america that is on a quest to have a hands across america in support of generation rescue. There are several different members of the group who have children who have autism and there is an adult member of the group that has autism.. I recntly started a yahoo group called hands across america it was also formed in support of generation rescue and autism research

  4. lol why'd you capitalize autism?

and no, don't you think autistic people would get a little freaked out if they were talking to a stranger? and who knows what autistic people can do when they're angry.....

  5. There is an internet game called second life and i have joined the Autism group and have attended meetings in the game.  I joined so i could have someone to talk to any hour of the day in current time.  There are other groups to join as well. This game has saved my sanity.

  6. there is a website, i joined for my son, but cant remember if it is

    weareautism.com or iamautism.com

it is one of those, and there are lots of members who have autism.

    Hope this helps

  7. Who are you? Are you autistic? Are you just someone looking for a captive autistic to interrogate?

I'll assume that you're actually on the spectrum, and warn you that if you aren't we don't always want to answer intrusive questions.

Anyway, there's wrongplanet.net and aspiesforfreedom.com. There's also the community "asperger" at LiveJournal. (There's an "autism" community there, but you might find it lacking in actual autistic people.)

I really don't recommend the Autism Speaks forums. I've never participated on them before, but I really dislike the organization itself, and most autistics find it doesn't represent them. A lot of us don't want to be associated with it, and from what I've seen the few times I've explored, it's mostly made up of parents.

  8. Try http://www.autismvox.com/.  It's a blog which allows comments.  Everyone who posts a comment on any article has a username.  If the username is underlined, this is a link, and it means that the poster has a website or internet group.  Most of the people who post comments there are autistic, so if you decide you like someone's comments, see if he or she has an underlined username.  If so, click it, and voila!  You will find an autistic group to your liking.

  9. Wrongplanet.net

  10. Okay, clearly you're able to ask questions on Yahoo... Then you could search for Autism on Yahoo.

    Anyway, here's a site:
