Does anybody know about Pavuna in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil?

I will be visiting there, and want to know if it is a bad neighborhood.

I'm from Brasil.

Well, Pavuna is one of the few districts in Rio de Janeiro where there are no slums.

But it is not located in a very safe part of the city. It is surrounded by many other violent and dangerous places.

Going to Rio de Janeiro is like going to LA...many beautifull places, great people, great food, but you shouldn't walk on the streets after hours by yourself.

Pavuna.  Put a keep a real.  There are better places to go as Bangu and Realengo.
