Question:

Does anybody know about the railroad tracks that pass through Montville Twp? I'm trying to find a schedule.

I am looking at a house in Montville Twp near the Turnberry development. There are railroad tracks that pass right through there. If the trains run during the day, I won't care. If they run at 3am, that's a problem and an extreme deterrent with regard to that house. I've been looking online for an hour or so now trying every search I can think of to find out what the schedule is for those tracks. Thus far, I have come up empty. Can anyone help me out with this?

  1. Freight trains very rarely run "on a schedule" anymore. Your best bet is to contact the railroad and ask about the frequency of trains on that particular route.

I'm guessing you're in Ohio, so that would most likely be either the CSX or Norfolk Southern.

The railroad will want to know at least one crossing so they can know exactly which segment you are talking about.

Or you could just knock on the door of someone living near the tracks, tell them you are considering moving into the area and want to know about the trains.
