  1. OK.. so you have me totally lost.

You are making statements of this being an "Uzbek" name, and that it did not originate in Kalishnikov.

Reality in genealogy is that names most often CANNOT be absolutely proven as to any one origin, since the names frequently are in use, prior to records which document them.  So.. Maury Kalaschenkow could be from Kalishnikov, and Ivan could be from Uzbek.  You can prove origins of a specific person from records.

The way your comment is phrased.. is that you apparently already have located documentation of your statements. When I refer to documentation.. I mean, an ORIGINAL record, made at the time, of a specific person and facts. Since you state these things as factual information.. I have to assume you have those records. I have no one of that name in my ancestry, so, no.. I don't have documents one way or the other.

What I can offer you is years and years of experience.. that it is completely spinning your wheels to be overly concerned about surnames, or where they come from.  I have a hunch that my advice will be ignored, and you will continue to look for an unprovable assumption.. instead of working to locate valid records about your personal ancestry.
