I used to listen to pandora but then one day my browser wouldn't go there. It was banned from my work. Stupid right. Well I just recently fried my mp3 player and in the meantime I want to find a radion station online that I can listen to because I hate the stations in Chicago and I'm too broke to buy me another mp3 player. Please help!!!

  1. www.worldviberadio.net

The #1 live365 R&B/Urban internet station in Chicago! Giving you a superb mix of R&B, Neo Soul, Hip Hop, & Gospel! We also give you live broadcast, artist interviews & much more! We Are The Vibe Heard Around The World! ***Also Heard On iTunes Radio!***

  2. If your company blocked Pandora, it may have been because of the bandwidth that radio streaming uses.  You could verify this with your local IT person.

If that is the reason, you shouldn't stream any radio stations on the internet.  Unless, of course, you don't like your job and would be happy to leave if requested.

  3. 88.7 WNCW @ wncw.org

  4. try Slacker.com

you pick the artists that you listen to.

I gave up on Chicago radio too . use to listen to XRT 93.1 the Loop 97.9 and Will rock 95.1  but got tired of the nonsense banter in the mornings

  5. How about NPR?

  6. If they will allow contemporary Christian music, you can go to www.ksbj.com (89.3 FM) and listen while you work.  It isn't a Chicago station, but they broadcast on the Internet.

  7. use ubroadcast or live365

  8. Can you dowload iTunes at work?  It has about a gabillion radio stations (organized by genre) and it's free.
