I would very cautious about taking recommendations from total strangers on Yahoo Answers.  You have no idea whether the people here have your child's best interests at heart.

Instead, I suggest you call the local high school and ask to speak with a guidance counselor.  He or she will know the students at the school and may be able to recommend someone who would be  a good babysitter.
