  1. Surely you have means of a taxi or bus, though?

The only campsites I know are a long walk- walkable, but uncomfortable with a bag full of camping equipment

  2. I've been past Ty Mawr Holiday Park near Abergele in north Wales and it looks OK ... there's a train station at Abergele and Ty Mawr is just a short way down the road ... there's buses running up and down that road between Abergele and Rhyl so you shouldn't have much problems ... there's supermarkets in Rhyl, Abergele and Kinmel Bay and cafes and such like down the road in between ... there's quite a few caravan sites down this road so there's quite a lot of tourist facilities

PS:  my all-time favourite campsite though has got to be Treen in Cornwall ... get the train to Penzance then the bus to Treen ... magic

  3. theres sheel island of the west coast of wales just get of the train north of barmouth and sheel island is just a 10min walk and at every now and then you cant get back it one of them campsites/islands that the tide surrounds it at certain times check the website out
