  1. For math I would try -

http://www.aleks.com for math. They offer a one month free trial and it's a high quality program using artificial intelligence. It goes up through college level mathematics.

    For history-Sonlight is amazing.

Best of luck to you and your son.

    Warm Regards,

    Jana

The last one is a blog-post from a homeschooling mom titled "Silencing Homeschool Critics Without Statistics".  I just thought it was very interesting and so I put it in as extra.

Also here is an awesome book I recently read about the public schools you might like to read.  The book is entitled Public School h**l (not my book, though I wish it was).  It shows the reasons behind the public school shootings, the drug abuse in the public schools, the rise in premarital s*x among teens, the failing education in the public schools, etc.  It PROVES that the public schools of the United States of America are RELIGIOUS humanist schools teaching their God-hating doctrines, parent-hating doctrines, U.S.A.-hating doctrines, etc.  And Public School h**l even gives the only key and sole solution to stopping the indoctrination of children in the public schools.  Public School h**l is (in my opinion) the most interesting and most important book I have ever read outside of the Holy Bible.  The main thing I like about Public School h**l is that it is very well documented providing a GREAT amount of proof for everything it says.  Check it out on Amazon.com here: http://www.amazon.com/PUBLIC-SCHOOL-h**l...

Please read that book and then tell your friends about it (especially if they send their kids to the public school).  If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me.

  6. There are a couple that are free, aside from possibly printing material off.

Old Fashioned Education is the only one that is completely free, grades K-12 that is not government sponsored. It comes with 40 weeks of scheduling for each grade and a page with links to the readings you will need. It is VERY cool. I am using part of it this year for my daughter, and most of it the next. Along with parts of....

Ambleside Online. It's a *mostly* free curriculum. There will be some books that can't be found on-line but must be purchased off-line. The books that must be purchased off-line can be found for a reasonable price, however.

There's a Yahho Group called 3RHomeschooling, a support group for parents that use these curriculums and other "classical" education formats. The group LOVES to share free-finds with each other, as well. ;)

You are also welcome to visit my blog, at which I have many links to free things as well. I ask that you keep any comments peaceful, however! It's not a debate blog. :)
