  1. basicn stuff works well

2 days a week in the gym - do power cleans, chinups, bench press and squats reps of 12, 10, 8, 6, 4 each

2 days a week running for fitness - run 40 mins at a heart rate of around 145

    2 days a week - interval sprints - jog 20 metres sprint 20 metres jog 40 m sprint 40 m jog 100m sprint 100m - repeat 4 times[

there is a good book by graham lowe and glen jenkins as well

  2. Hit yourself repeated about the head with a large sledgehammer until knots and calluses have built up all around, and you don't feel anything? Sounds pretty practical to me!

  3. http://www.scrum.com/fitness/default.asp

Check out this website mate its got some great info on fitness for rugby.

  4. Take a visit to your nearest medical aid broker.  Take out a very good medical aid.  After this, visit your nearest bio-kineticast and request that he/she provide you with a programme.

  5. Stay away from the pub, eat healthily and basically sty in shape with jogging and other excercises. You don't want to be tired before the season starts!
