Does anybody know anything about ING?

I am thinking about investing in ING annuities. What are some questions to ask? What should I be careful about when investing in annuities? Are there any drawbacks?

Contact a Financial Advisor that is a broker (someone that has access to multiple companies product lines).  It will be less likely that you'll find any bias when they have access to them all...ING (or whatever individual brand) wants to sell you their product....a broker just wants to sell you any product, so they will find something that suits you, rather than squeezing you into a mold.

I don't know where you live so it's hard to say if ING is the best option in your state, province or country....
