Does anybody know anything about car design? or any car designers?

Question

for my A-level product design im going to make a piece of one off furniture with an automotive aspect built into it (maybe by using old car parts as part of the design) im doing a research section where i have to look at automotive designers, know any good ones? im also looking at how the design of cars changes from country to country any help would be amazing!

you deffo need to look at giugiaro, he is one of the most prolific designers, also theres J. Mays, Wayne Cherry, Thomas Gale (PT Cruiser/ plymouth Prowler etc), Patrick Le Quement (Renault - look into the Avantime), Peter Schreyer (Audi), Ferdinand Porsche (old Porsches and the beetle) and Harm Lagaay (newer porsches), Chris Bangle (ugly BMWs), Luc Donkerwolke (lambos, skoda, Seat, peugeot), Ian Callum (jaguar), theres also the design studios ital design (owned by Giugario), Pininfarina and Bertone and Ghia

also, there are loadsa concept cars which are very interesting (especially from a design POV)
