Does anybody know anything about the bike Marin?

I just tried out a Marin down hill bike. Its 500 dollars and Im not sure if I should buy it. Im still attached to norco; what is your opinion on Marin?

Amy,Marin has amazing bikes ( i.e. Mount Vision or check www.marinbikes.com) and has won many downhill & cross country competitions.  The bike could be inspected by a bike expert ( the rear shocks, drivetrain,& other gears )----since its a bargain ----anyway, just ask for a 2008 MARIN catalog from your bike dealer!

Never heard of Norco, but Marin is a good brand.  Really, they all have the same components like Shimano or Suntour.   Whatever you buy it's going to do what you want it for.

Marin, in general, is a good brand. But, if Norco is really "tugging at you", don't be afraid to stay with Norco.
